"The Shrine of the Black Madonna Sanctuary's effort to meet it's goal of  serving low-income and marginalized families in Goochland cannot be realized without assistance from like-mined individuals and/groups. The Race for Unity organization exceeded all expectations in assisting SBMS in meeting its goals. The compassion, kindness, practicality, and logistics that Race for Unity has brought to our endeavor through the "Enable and Inspire" grocery program has brought relief of hunger and anxiety to approximately a dozen families within the last six weeks. This is a partnership desired by many service organizations. The acknowledgement of thanks by the families served attest to the effectiveness and appreciation of the support given. The leadership and members of SBMS look forward to a continuing partnership and a potential for growth in this initiative and other opportunities for expanded services"
